Slack

luftflow posts to your Slack workspace as its own app. It can:

• Post to a channel, such as telling #sales about each paid order. Public channels work without inviting the app; for a private one, invite luftflow's app to it first.
• Message a person, found by the email address they use in Slack.

Connecting

Open Connectors → Slack and press Connect Slack. Slack asks you to pick a workspace and approve what luftflow may do there: post messages, see the names of public channels, and see people's names and email addresses. luftflow never sees your Slack password.

Staging uses the same workspace as live until you connect a separate one for staging, and the page says so. Use a separate workspace if test runs should not reach your team.

When it stops working

If someone removes luftflow's app from the workspace, steps that use Slack stop working. luftflow emails the team's owners, the deploy pane says to reconnect, and Reconnect on the connector's page puts it back.
